Today was the last day of school for my little P. I can't believe that it's already summer. The year flew by! I'm super excited to be spending my days with my little love but I'm also thinking...what in the world are we going to do all summer?! So I've been hunting for a few art projects to keep us busy. She's a crafty gal and these are a few I think she'll enjoy:
We'll actually be making these sweet little bird hangings next week. P is throwing a tea party for Lambie and invited two of her besties so I thought this would be a sweet project for them to do. The lovely lady who posted this tutorial has a whole section on her blog of things to make with kids so check it out here.
I love love love these canvas paintings that Ashley's little girl did. I have been meaning to buy a large canvas for Parker to paint. She's painted a few smaller ones and loves doing them. I've been on the hunt for a large piece of art for over her desk but this is the perfect solution. I can't wait to get started on it.

More from LilBlue Boo. This lady is sooo creative! Parker saw this pinned on my pinterest page and has been asking to do it so I figure it will make for a good summer project. Her dolls need a storage spot for their clothes anyway!
Parker loves a good dream catcher. She made one a long time ago in preschool and has loved them ever since. And to say that I have a ton of fabric scraps is an understatement! I have so many, I don't know what to do with them. A pretty dream catcher would put some of those scraps to perfect use!

A tea cup fairy garden! How cute is that?! Parker loves her fairy garden that we have outside. She has a pretty tea cup and saucer that a friend gave her and we haven't quite known what to do with it...I think this would be perfect.
So...at the end of the summer I should do a recap and see how many of these we actually do! I have a few "art projects" myself that I'd like to get done. Like painting my front hall, painting the back door....we'll see!
Happy Thursday and Happy start of summer!
