Lamby is Parker's favorite stuffie. She does everything with Parker. She even went to Kindergarten with her for at least half the year! She started playing with her when she was about 2 and hasn't really put her down since. Lamby is well loved...she has had "surgery" twice because she has a few holes. We even lost her at Target once but thank goodness we found her! The funny thing is that we can't remember where Lamby came from or who gave her to Parker. I can remember pretty much where every one of her stuffies came from but not lamby. So about a month ago Parker was saying that she wished we could have a birthday party for Lamby but we don't know when her birthday is. So she decided that she wanted to have a tea party for her!
She wrote out invitations and sent them to two of her besties. She even mailed them...old school style!
Yesterday Parker and I made a little tutu for Lamby to wear. And of course the girls brought several stuffies with them!
They had hot chocolate, "tea sandwiches" (pb&j), cookies and strawberries..
I loved listening to their conversation...they were very proper and said things like:
"These strawberries are just delightful," "Please pass the sweets," and "I just adore these cookies."
And everything was said in a semi-English accent! At one point I even heard them each saying what they loved about their favorite stuffie...it was so cute.
But by the end of their time at the table they had lost the accent were talking about how they all don't like the Green Bay Packers!
Then we did this adorable craft that I posted about last week. The bird hangings turned out pretty cute:
Here the girls are with their finished crafts:
Parker's little buddies are still here as we speak. After the tea party and craft activity it turned into a regular old playdate...which is great for me because I get some work done! Anyhow...it was a delightful morning and I think the girls all had fun...including Lamby!
